Interviewing a Gamer: Little Big Planet 2's Announcement
With Little Big Planet 2 confirmed, I decided to look for some opinions. I know someone who has played the first game, so I decided to ask for heir opinion. I interviewed young casual gamer, Amber.
Casual Gamer: Amber Gely, Age 14
Q. How long have you been playing video games?
A. Ever since I was I think 4. My first console was the Sega Dreamcast. I also played the silver Sega handheld (Sega Game Gear). Sonic was one of the first games I ever played.
Q. Are you familiar with playing the PlayStation 3?
A. Yes, too much lag though… But I don’t like playing online, people are mean there.
Q. Have you played Little Big Planet on the PlayStation 3?
A. Yes, that’s the first game I played for the PS3, and the only game I played for the PS3.
Q. What do you think about it?
A. It’s fun, it’s cute, and you get to create your own stuff. It’s not like a war game but I still think it’s cute.
Q. Hahaha, so you think war games are cute?
A. No, but I like Final Fantasy. (What the hell?? LOL)
Q. Have you tried Little Big Planet’s multiplayer?
A. I tried it with my god sister, they yelled at us haha! They called us noobs and were mean. I told them “If you don’t like it, leave.” And they left.
Q. So… what if I told you Little Big Planet 2 was finally announced to release?
A. I would go out and buy it as soon as it comes out! But my dad burned his PS3. Maybe I can get it for PSP.
Q. Have you played the first Little Big Planet for PSP?
A. I haven’t played the game on PSP, but I want to. My friend has it.
Q. What do you look forward to in Little Big Planet 2?
A. New maps, decorations, new adventures, new character creations…
Q. Will you still play Little Big Planet 1 if you buy Little Big Planet 2?
A. Depends on which one is better, I never got a chance to finish part 1.
Q. What other games are you looking forward to playing when it’s released?
A. Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep if it comes out this year.
Q. Any more final comments, things you would like to see improved in the sequel?
A. Hmm… The thing Little Big Planet is fun to create maps though it’s hard… I like to look at other people’s maps instead.
I thank Amber for her time and answers. I will continue to randomly do Gamer Interviews and ask opinions on certain topics!

"Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" Confirmed for Fall 2010
So it has been announced (or rather leaked by a GameStop promotional photo) that the next Assassin's Creed franchise will be hitting shelves Fall 2010. The photo shows additional characters along side our lovable hero, Ezio. Multiplayer has also been confirmed for this release. If Pre-Ordered you will receive a GameStop exclusive multiplayer character, it doesn't reveal who the character is but a lot of attention is drawing to the 6 other characters (sorry, 2 were cut off!) in the photo including the female character.
Assassin's Creed II was set in Italy, but according to this promotional photo, it seems it will extend to Rome. The following is quoted from the rest of the poster itself:
"BE A LEGEND"
"LIVE AND BREATHE AS EZIO, NOW A LEGENDARY MASTER ASSASSIN, IN THE STRUGGLE AGAINST THE TEMPLAR ORDER. LEAD YOUR OWN BROTHERHOOD OF ASSASSINS AND STRIKE AT THE HEART OF THE ENEMY, ROME.
AND FOR THE FIRST TIME, TAKE PART IN AN INNOVATIVE MULTIPLAYER LAYER ALLOWEING YOU TO EMBODY AN ASSASSIN OF YOUR CHOOSING AND DEFINE THEIR KILLING STYLE."
"LEAD YOUR OWN BROTHERHOOD OF ASSASSINS, AS EZIO, AND CONQUER ROME"
Would you buy it? I just might! I think this sounds alright, just throw me some co-op on the storyline and I'm set! Though it makes me curious to know why did they decide to make multiplayer now, in another installment when Ubisoft Entertainment has supposedly confirmed Assassin's Creed 3's release in a earnings conference call back in January '10. Stating it have multiplayer. Looks like ubisoft has more up their sleeves than we thought, those little sneaks! ;)
The photo states it will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC
